I have spent my career at the intersection of leadership, culture, and governance having developed expertise across diverse industries and geographies – primarily Europe, the US, the Middle East and North Africa. I have a combination of strategic, operational, and advisory experience.
As CEO, I set up and managed for investors a multi-million-dollar hospitality management company in Egypt, where I successfully navigated the turbulent business challenges created during the Arab Spring Revolution resulting in significant business growth and profitability even during that very challenging time. During my tenure as CEO I opened multiple franchises and developed new F&B concepts, developed new routes to market, and achieved significant revenue growth and increased profitability.
Over the past six years, I have been a Chairman for a hospitality company and have extended my impact beyond hospitality, advising boards, CEOs, founders, and teams across other sectors.
I am an approved Senior Industry Advisor to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a coach & mentor with Ireland's Carmichael non-profit, and a member of The Corporate Governance Institute. I combine a hands-on leadership and operating experience with a deep commitment to industry mentorship. My multicultural background and tailored, no one-size-fits-all approach empowers organizations to establish enduring performance strategies, operations, cultures, and governance structures that mazimise success.
